The Collector emphasized the need to make the Amrabad Tiger Reserve Forest completely plastic-free during a meeting held in the video conference hall of the Collectorate. It was highlighted that the animals in the forest are being harmed by single-use plastic covers, so efforts should be made to eliminate plastic from the entire area.

Since the Nagar Kurnool to Srisailam road passes through the Nallamalla forest, commuters are urged to find alternatives to using plastic items. Suggestions include using non-plastic items like steel water bottles instead of plastic ones, and opting for bags made of gunny or paper instead of plastic carry bags. Check posts have been set up to ensure that passengers do not carry plastic covers through the forest.
