The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has declared the Dasara holidays for junior colleges in the region. These holidays will run from September 27 to October 5, 2025. Colleges are set to resume on October 6.
The announcement applies to all institutions offering Intermediate courses. This includes Government, Private Aided, Private Unaided, Co-operative, T.G. Residential, Social Welfare Residential, Tribal Welfare Residential, BC Welfare, Railway, Central Government, Incentive, Minority, KGBV, T.G. Model School Junior Colleges, and Composite Degree Colleges.
The Board has instructed principals to keep students focused on their studies during the term. Any college that fails to follow these rules could face serious consequences, such as disciplinary measures or even disqualification.
