Manognya Reddy, a resident of Sainikpuri and member of the Kapra Revival Group, highlighted the community’s efforts to keep the lake clean. Last year, their work led to the deployment of Lake Protection Force personnel to prevent littering. A group member explained that the goal of the cleanup is to save the lake and urge the government to restore it.
The volunteers worked together to maintain the cleanliness and natural beauty of Kapra Lake. They removed a significant amount of waste from the lake bed, showing their dedication to protecting the environment. Manognya Reddy praised the ongoing efforts of locals in preserving the lake’s cleanliness. The deployment of Lake Protection Force personnel last year helped reduce littering at the lake. The Kapra Revival Group hopes that their cleanup will raise awareness about the importance of lake restoration.
