BRS leaders in Hyderabad accused the Congress and BJP of trying to weaken their party during a press conference on Sunday. They questioned why BJP MPs had joined the party if they believed it had not done any development work. Party leader R Sridhar Reddy pointed out that PM Narendra Modi had previously praised the KCR government’s performance and Mission Bhagiratha.
Sridhar Reddy also criticized the nomination of Saidi Reddy as the BJP candidate for the Nalgonda LS segment, highlighting concerns about his alleged encroachment on tribal lands. He questioned why BJP State chief Kishan Reddy had not been able to secure wins for party members in his constituency of Secunderabad.
The BRS leader also took aim at BJP leader Eatala Rajender, stating that someone who has encroached on the lands of the poor should not be speaking out against the BRS. He criticized Eatala’s comments on Kavita’s arrest and accused the BJP of disrespecting tribal leader Soyam Bapu Rao by denying him a ticket.
Reddy further criticized the BJP for giving a ticket to the son of a sitting MP in Nagarkurnool while accusing the BRS of family rule.
