BRS leaders were upset when their party MLA joined Congress, so they went to Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar’s house with a petition for disqualification. However, they had to leave because the Speaker was not available. The BRS MLAs had an appointment with Kumar at 6 pm, but he did not meet them even by 8 pm as he was not at home.

After waiting for two and a half hours at the Speaker’s residence, the MLAs decided to return. Kaushik Reddy expressed disappointment that the Speaker did not see them despite the appointment. He believed that the Chief Minister’s pressure led to this outcome. The MLAs planned to try submitting the disqualification petition for Daman Nagender once again.
