Khammam: The District Congress Committee marked the Mahila Congress Foundation Day with excitement at Sanjeeva Reddy Bhavan. DCC President Puvvalla Durgaprasad highlighted the Congress party’s strong tradition of empowering women in society and politics.
District Mahila Congress President Dobbala Soujanya thanked the Congress government for consistently supporting women’s welfare. She emphasized the Mahila Congress’s role since 1952, and its growth in 1984, in offering leadership opportunities to women across India. Many senior Congress leaders and party members attended the celebration.
