In Hyderabad, two more MLAs have left the BRS party to join Congress. This comes after Rajendranagar MLA T Prakash Goud joined Congress the day before.

During the day, Serilingampally MLA Arekapudi Gandhi officially joined Congress. Discussions with Patancheru MLA G Mahipal Reddy, who had been considering the switch for some time, concluded at the residence of former Minister Danam Nagender. Later that evening, Mahipal Reddy visited Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s residence to accept the Congress kanduva.

This move indicates that more MLAs may join Congress in the future, along with some MLCs and Corporators. With Mahipal Reddy’s switch, the number of legislators joining Congress now stands at 10.
