Congress government plans to celebrate Formation Day in a grand manner after receiving permission from EC

The Chief Secretary, Santhi Kumari, held a meeting with senior officials to discuss arrangements for the State Formation Day on June 2nd in Hyderabad. The Congress government plans to celebrate the completion of 10 years of Telangana’s formation with a series of events, including a cultural carnival and a public meeting at Parade Grounds.

The government aims to showcase its achievements over the past five months, honor Telangana martyrs’ families, and unveil a new Telangana song. Sonia Gandhi has been invited to attend the celebrations and interact with veteran Telangana activists. Cultural events highlighting Telangana’s traditions will be organized in district headquarters, with a big event in Hyderabad in the evening.

Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari reviewed arrangements for the celebrations, including traffic routes, pick-up points, and parking places. The police department is tasked with ensuring smooth movement of dignitaries, while GHMC officials are responsible for cleaning and maintenance. The Cultural department is coordinating artist participation to create a festive atmosphere.
