Former minister T Harish Rao stated that the State government would not address the issues of Telangana and the Congress party would not question it. He emphasized that only the BRS party would work for the interest of the people.

During a preparatory meeting in the Zaheerabad Lok Sabha constituency at Telangana Bhavan, Rao mentioned that even though the party had lost in the recent elections, activists still had the same enthusiasm and were ready to show their power in the Lok Sabha elections. He assured that the party would review their mistakes and not repeat them in the upcoming LS poll.

Rao urged party leaders to remind people of BRS’s fight for Telangana issues with the Centre in Delhi and encourage them to vote for the BRS. He emphasized that a strong number of BRS MPs was crucial for the voice of Telangana to be heard in Parliament. He added that if there were no BRS MPs in the Lok Sabha, it would seem like a collusion between the Congress and the BJP.

Highlighting that the AP Reorganisation issues were still pending, Rao expressed his belief that justice for Telangana would not be achieved through the Congress or BJP. He stated that if Telangana’s rights were to be obtained in Delhi, the BRS, which originated from Telangana, should win in the Parliament elections.

Rao criticized Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for his comments about not being with the BJP and clarified that their meetings with the Prime Minister were for official purposes. He reminded everyone about Reddy’s allegations of collusion between the BJP and BRS when ministers met Union ministers during his time as PCC president.

The BRS leader further alleged that the government had a negative attitude and would undo all the progress made by KCR. He expressed his disappointment with the cancellation of innovative schemes introduced by KCR and urged the Congress not to harm the poor for their own political gain. He demanded that the government focus on implementing the promises made instead of wasting time on unnecessary matters.
