Hyderabad: On Monday, Congress workers organized a bicycle rally to celebrate Telangana Formation Day. This event honored the sacrifices of many, especially the youth, during the movement for Telangana’s creation.
Kota Neelima, the party leader in Sanathnagar, led the rally with the theme “Reclaiming the Spirit of the Movement, Reinforcing the Vision of Congress.” The rally started on Begumpet Airport Road and ended at Rasoolpura Circle. It attracted Congress members, young people, and cycling fans who came together to celebrate Telangana’s rich heritage and bright future.
Kota Neelima emphasized that the rally paid tribute to the Telangana Movement, a significant struggle marked by sacrifice and a strong demand for dignity. She highlighted the crucial role of the Indian National Congress in supporting Telangana’s people during critical times. The party continues to uphold the movement’s values, focusing on social justice, inclusive growth, and responsive governance. “This cycle rally reinforced the Congress Party’s commitment to putting the people’s aspirations at the forefront of Telangana’s progress,” she stated.
