Hyderabad: Congress leaders have strongly reacted to comments made by BRS MLA Kotha Prabhakar Reddy. They believe he is trying to bring down the current Congress government in Telangana. The leaders urged the Chief Minister to launch an investigation and file a case against the MLA for his alleged actions.
Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy responded by saying that a plan was being made to overthrow the government. He blamed former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR), claiming that the Dubbaka MLA was only speaking KCR’s words. He said the BRS party was dreaming if they thought they could topple the government. The minister warned the public to stay alert and watch the situation carefully.
Speaking about the state’s new land portal, Bhu Bharati, the Revenue Minister said that those who were involved in corruption are scared of the new system. He explained that Bhu Bharati, which replaces the older Dharani portal, will help expose any illegal activities.
Minister Ponnam Prabhakar also criticized the Dubbaka MLA, jokingly asking how someone from the transport business suddenly became an astrologer. He called the MLA’s statements nonsense and said that the Congress party is ready to face any challenges, including attempts to remove it from power.
PCC chief and MLC B Mahesh Kumar Goud made fun of the BRS MLA’s comments and said that the Congress government is strong because it has the support of the people.
He also said there might be a hidden plan behind the MLA’s words. Government Whip Aadi Srinivas and Bhongir MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy also asked the Chief Minister to order an investigation into the matter.
