In the midst of ongoing challenges within the Congress party’s state leadership, tensions rose among local leaders in Hyderabad over the DCC leadership position at Gandhi Bhavan.

Sources reveal that a disagreement erupted during a review meeting on Thursday. Supporters of current Hyderabad DCC President Sameer Waliullah and Malakpet MLA candidate Shaikh Akbar clashed. The argument quickly escalated as both sides became more heated.

A scuffle ensued when Akbar demanded the DCC president role, citing the current president’s health issues. The AICC is reportedly concerned about these chaotic incidents. Previous disruptions, like protests against the PCC President and sheep entering Gandhi Bhavan, have also been noted.
