Hanumakonda: Congress leaders in Warangal West have invited the BRS for a public debate. They want to discuss the area’s development under former MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar‘s 10-year rule and the recent achievements of MLA Naini Rajender Reddy over the last 18 months.
Congress members, including Thota Venkateshwarlu, Jakkula Ravinder Yadav, Syed Vijayasri Rajali, and Pothula Srimannarayana (Sriman), urge BRS leaders to join an open dialogue. They criticized BRS for avoiding discussions and said they should stop making vague statements.
At a press conference, Congress leaders praised Rajender Reddy for leading with dignity as district president. They recalled that questioning during BRS’s decade-long rule was discouraged. Congress advises BRS to adopt respectful political practices.
The Congress team highlighted that locals are evaluating the MLA’s work and questioning the past administration. They blamed BRS for the withdrawal of funds from the Endowments department and credited Rajender Reddy for recovering Smart City funds.
They stressed that Rajender Reddy allocates resources fairly across all divisions without bias, respecting the BRS while pursuing development projects. The Bhadrakali Bund and lake projects were part of planned tenders, showing BRS’s lack of awareness.
Congress criticized BRS leaders for mismanaging Central funds meant for heritage city development. They accused BRS of failing to support the community and negotiate with the government effectively. Congress emphasized their history of questioning authority and addressing public concerns. They warned BRS against engaging in politics solely for media attention.
