Errabelli Dayakar Rao, a former minister, criticized the ongoing governance in the State on Thursday, describing it as oppressive. Speaking at a meeting for MPTC cluster leaders in Peddavangara mandal, Mahabubabad district, he claimed that surveys for the upcoming local body elections favor the BRS. He accused the government of deceiving people with false promises.
Rao argued that the government operates under significant coercion. He noted that Rythu Bharosa funds were distributed in anticipation of the local elections. Under Congress, he said, farmers struggled, but KCR’s leadership brought them prosperity.
He encouraged party members and social media leaders to work diligently in the elections. Rao pledged support to dedicated leaders, stating that people, especially unemployed youth and students, are eager for the elections. He predicted that Congress candidates would face heavy losses.
Rao expressed dissatisfaction with Revanth Reddy’s leadership, asserting that BRS will secure 80% of the seats. He instructed youth and social media leaders to hold meetings in every panchayat within the mandal to discuss and reveal the government’s shortcomings.
