Kothagudem: N Balram, the CMD of Singareni, stressed the importance of finishing the company’s solar projects on time. He warned that any delays would result in the cancellation of contracts and blacklisting of the involved agencies.
On Thursday, at Singareni Bhavan in Hyderabad, Balram met with officials and contractors to discuss the progress of solar plant constructions. The review covered the 54.5 MW solar plants from Phase 1 and the 67.5 MW plants from Phase 2.
Balram criticized the construction agencies for not meeting deadlines despite being paid on time. He emphasized the need to finish the work by October, with no room for further delays.
He also directed that the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), linked with the 28 MW solar plant at Mandamarri, be completed by August. Under the Surya Ghar Yojana scheme, Balram instructed that the 32.75 MW rooftop solar projects on Singareni buildings be finished by the end of December.
