Bhadrachalam: On Thursday evening, the Godavari River water level in Bhadrachalam was 26 feet. Officials noted that the water is rising slowly because of heavy rain.
The water is anticipated to reach the first warning level of 43 feet by Friday. The second warning level is 48 feet, and the final warning is at 53 feet. District Collector Jitesh V Patil and SP Rohith Raju advised residents, especially those in low-lying areas, to stay cautious. They instructed officers to be ready for relief efforts and to remain vigilant.
