Warangal: Congress party workers held a rally on Monday called ‘Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan’ to celebrate 75 years of the Indian Constitution. The march aimed to highlight the importance of the Constitution and started from Kakatiya University junction, ending at the Nayeem Nagar petrol bunk. Warangal West MLA Naini Rajender Reddy led the rally.
During the event, Naini Rajender Reddy said the campaign was inspired by Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Mallikharjuna Kharge, and Mahesh Kumar Goud. He explained that the rally was part of a larger movement to show respect for the Constitution and the values of leaders like Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
He also criticized the BJP and RSS, saying they were against the ideas of the Constitution and Dr. Ambedkar. Naini pointed to comments made by Union Home Minister Amit Shah as disrespectful.
Naini further added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi seems to focus more on helping the rich than supporting the poor and middle-class people.
Several other leaders joined the rally, including Warangal DCC president Errabelli Swarna, MP K Kavya, MLC Baswaraj Saraiah, State Huj Committee chairman Khusroo Pasha, and kUDA chairman E Venkatram Reddy.
