Congress’ ‘Venomous Snake’ Barb at PM Draws Amit Shah’s Attack

Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticized the Congress party and its leaders for calling Prime Minister Narendra Modi a “venomous snake.” Shah said that the Congress party has lost its mind and that Modi is respected all over the world. He added that the Congress party cannot instigate people by making such statements, as support for Modi will only increase. Shah also mentioned how Modi has increased India’s pride and worked towards making India prosperous, safe, and strong. He addressed a public meeting in Dharwad district in Karnataka and asked if people could make the Congress party victorious after comparing Modi to a venomous snake. Shah also mentioned other derogatory statements made by Congress leaders towards Modi, saying that they have lost their minds. He concluded by saying that if you abuse Modi, the support for him will only increase.

Kharge, a Congress party leader, had called Modi a “venomous snake” during a campaign rally in poll-bound Karnataka. However, he later clarified that his remarks were not aimed at the Prime Minister but at the ruling BJP.
