Construction of a steel bridge connecting two government hospitals underway in Nizamabad

The Speaker of the Telangana State Legislative Assembly, Pocharam Srinivasa Reddy, inaugurated a new “District Mental Health Center and Elderly Physiotherapy” Center at Bansuwada Area Hospital. The center will provide treatment to mentally ill and elderly people in the Banswada constituency. The hospital also has medical facilities such as blood bank, dialysis unit, oxygen unit, TIFA scan, SNCU, and MICU. There are arrangements for the attendants accompanying the patients.

The Legislative Assembly Speaker also informed that a steel over bridge is being constructed at a cost of R 3 crore across the main road connecting Banswada Area Hospital and Mata Shishu Hospital. Proposals have been sent for the construction of a new building for the Area Hospital.

The Banswada Mata-Shishu Hospital was built with a capacity of 100 beds with Rs 20 crore. More than 400 deliveries are carried out at the facility every month. Within two years of the opening of this hospital, it won a national award in the field of mother milk promotion.
