The Telangana High Court has closed a case against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. The case, filed in 2016 at the Gachibowli police station, was based on a complaint by Peddiraju. He accused Reddy and his family of trying to take over community land.
This case also included charges against Reddy’s brother, Kondal Reddy, and Lakshmaiah. The allegations were made under the SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Revanth Reddy asked the court in 2020 to drop the charges.
After listening to both sides, the court made its decision on July 17. The judge noted that Reddy was not at the location during the supposed incident and found no solid evidence to support Peddiraju’s claims. As a result, the court dismissed the case against the Chief Minister.
