CP Radhakrishnan, Governor of Jharkhand, named as interim Governor of Telangana

President Draupadi Murmu has accepted the resignation of Tamilisai Soundararajan, the Governor of Telangana. This means a new appointment for the position is on the way.

In the meantime, Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan has been given the additional responsibility of overseeing Telangana. The President has ordered Radhakrishnan to serve as the Governor of Telangana and also act as the Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry until a permanent Governor is appointed for Telangana.

This decision showcases Radhakrishnan’s experience and capability to handle multiple responsibilities. It comes at a time of various political changes and adjustments in the governance structure of the region.
