    The CPI and AISF celebrated the United Left Panel’s victory in the JNU student union elections. Takkalapally Srinivas Rao expressed happiness at the Left panel’s triumph at a meeting in Hanumakonda.

    The Left panel won three out of four posts, with the fourth post going to BAPSA, supported by the Left. Takkalapally emphasized that the victory showed a rejection of communal politics and called on youth to stand up against right-wing parties.

    AIYF leaders also praised the JNU students for rejecting the ABVP panel in the elections. They believed that the Left panel’s victory reflected a backlash against Prime Minister Modi’s rule and predicted a similar outcome in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

    The newly-elected president and other office bearers of BAPSA were congratulated by the leaders for their success in the elections.
