CPI leader K Sambasiva Rao criticized the BRS members for their inability to pay salaries on time, despite the state’s high rankings in various indexes. During a discussion in the Assembly, Rao pointed out that the BRS government failed to fulfill promises such as providing jobs for each family. In response, BRS member T Harish Rao challenged the ruling party to provide proof of this promise. Rao further mentioned that other promises like land allocation for Dalits and funds for scholarships and Gram Panchayats were also not fully implemented. He advised the Congress party to learn from these mistakes and continue the good work of previous governments. Rao accused the government of diverting Singareni funds and failing to remove contracts and outsourcing. He also called for the provision of Rythu Bharosa to tenant farmers.
