Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Police have announced strict security steps for the upcoming Intermediate Public Advance Supplementary Examinations.
From May 22 to May 29, no group of five or more people will be allowed to gather within 200 meters of any exam center. This rule has been put in place to ensure a peaceful and fair testing environment.
In addition, all photocopy shops and internet centers located within 100 meters of the exam centers must stay closed during this period. These measures aim to prevent cheating and maintain order.
However, some are allowed to be in these restricted areas. This includes police officers, military personnel, home guards, members of the Education Department's flying squad, and those taking part in funeral processions.
These restrictions will stay active for the entire exam period across all centers under the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate.
The police have warned that anyone who breaks these rules could face legal action under Section 163 of BNSS.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty emphasized that these steps are necessary to protect the integrity of the exams and urged the public to cooperate.
