Hyderabad saw two separate fire incidents this week, both causing property damage but fortunately no injuries.

On Wednesday, a large fire broke out at an incense stick (agarbatti) warehouse located in Sitaramaraju Nagar Basti, near Gudimalkapur. Thick black smoke quickly filled the area, leading to panic among residents living nearby.

The Fire Department responded promptly after getting the alert. Firefighters managed to control the flames before they could spread to other homes in the crowded neighborhood. Despite the quick action, the fire caused heavy property damage.

Officials believe the fire may have started due to an electrical short circuit or improper handling of flammable materials, but the exact cause is still under investigation. The Gudimalkapur police have filed a case and are looking into the incident further.

Just a day earlier, on Tuesday, another fire broke out in a shoe warehouse in Boyiguda, Chatrinaka. The warehouse was located on the second floor of a G+2 residential building. When the blaze started, the people inside rushed out and alerted authorities.

Chatrinaka police and firefighters arrived quickly. The fire was brought under control before it could spread to other parts of the building or nearby areas.

Both incidents raised concerns about fire safety in densely packed neighborhoods. Authorities have urged residents and businesses to follow safety guidelines and check electrical wiring regularly to avoid such accidents.
