    A public meeting was held in the IDOC office meeting hall on Monday with Mrs. Vidya Chandana, the additional collector of local bodies, along with officials from various departments to address the issues faced by people in the district.

    During the meeting, the Additional Collector instructed officials to investigate the applications submitted by candidates and take necessary steps to resolve their problems.

    Some of the applications received include one from Vajja Rani Sativarigudem Panchayat, who applied for the Grihajyoti scheme and sent the application to the Electricity Department. Another application was from Gugulot Saraswati’s father, who requested financial assistance for his daughter’s education.

    Farmers from Agraharam village complained about damage to their crops due to dust and chemicals from a nearby plant. They have not yet received compensation despite filing an application.

    Gumma Gopinath deposited money for a sheep scheme but has not received any sheep yet. He requested a refund of his money until the scheme restarts.

    Kalyani, a single woman from SC Colony, applied for a Mahila Me Seva Kendra under a government scheme. SK Nafeez Pasha sought assistance regarding a house given for open cast by a mining company.

    The meeting was attended by district officers from all departments to address the various issues raised by applicants.
