Hyderabad: A tragic road accident in Peddapally District on June 5 left a 3-year-old girl, Sahasra, severely injured and without her parents. Guntipalli Ramu and his wife Anusha, from Basantnagar, lost their lives in the accident. Due to Sahasra's critical state, she was initially taken to Karimnagar and later moved to Rainbow Hospital in Hyderabad on Tuesday for further treatment.

Health Minister C Damodar Raja Narsimha was moved by the media reports about Sahasra's condition. He immediately instructed health department officials to ensure she receives free medical care. The government pledged to cover all medical expenses for her treatment.

Following the minister’s orders, Hyderabad DMHO Dr. Venkat visited Rainbow Hospital to check on Sahasra. He met with her family and offered them support. Doctors informed him that Sahasra had a severe vertebrae injury requiring surgery. Dr. Venkat urged the hospital to provide the best care possible, assuring them that the government would handle all related costs.
