The Telangana Drug Control Administration (DCA) in Hyderabad is warning the public about fake Sildenafil, a drug used for erectile dysfunction. They are asking pharmacies to stop selling a counterfeit version of the drug called ‘Pulmosil Injection’ 10 mg/12.5 ml with the batch number KFA0300, manufactured by Sun Pharmaceutical industries in Turkapally.

The DCA found fungus in sealed vials of the fake product and issued an alert to stop using it. They provided ways to identify the counterfeit product, such as the white flip-off seal and light pale yellow solution. The original product has a violet flip-off seal, clear colorless solution, and curved labels or rounded corners.
