Deadline for discounted traffic fines extended in Hyderabad

The deadline for discounted clearance of pending traffic challans in Hyderabad has been extended to February 15. The State government has given approval for this extension. Under this scheme, there are discounts of 90% for TSRTC buses, 80% for two and three-wheelers, and 60% for LMV/HMV vehicles. These discounts are applicable to pending challans issued under the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988. Initially, the payment deadline for discounted challans was January 10, but it was later extended to January 31. Now, the last date to avail of the traffic challan discounts in Hyderabad is February 15.
