Former Maharashtra Governor and BJP senior leader Ch Vidyasagar Rao has proposed that Hyderabad should become the second capital of India. He reminded everyone of Dr BR Ambedkar’s grandson Prakash Ambedkar’s statement in support of this idea. Rao believes that all political parties should come together to make this decision, and that it would help achieve the dream of a Golden Telangana.

Speaking to the media in Hyderabad on Friday, Rao said that there is a clear mention in the constitution that the country needs a second capital. He expressed confidence that Hyderabad has the potential to become that second capital in the future.
