DEO says government schools shape students’ bright future

Nagarkurnool: The Prof. Jayashankar Badi Baata (Back to School) initiative began on Friday throughout Nagarkurnool district. District Educational Officer A Ramesh Kumar kicked off the program at Tadoor, Veldanda, and Kalwakurthy by unveiling brochures.

He highlighted the importance of government schools in securing a bright future for students. The government is focused on ensuring quality education and better facilities in these schools. Teachers play a key role in developing students into ambitious individuals. He urged teachers to find children not attending school and help enroll them in government schools. The Badi Baata program will continue until June 19.

On June 12, when schools reopen, students will receive textbooks, notebooks, and uniforms.

He suggested showcasing the excellent 10th-grade results in government schools locally to boost enrollments.

A pledge was taken to emphasize the commitment to education for everyone.

The event was attended by Samagra Shiksha Coordinator Barapati Venkataiah, Textbook Manager Manapadu Narasimhulu, MEOs Srinivas Reddy, Shankar Naik, Chandrudu Naik, along with several teachers and officials.
