    Telangana State Director General of Police Ravi Gupta, along with Additional DGP B Shivadhar Reddy, visited the Sammakka Saralamma Jatara at Medaram, Mulugu district. They offered prayers to the goddesses and held a meeting with nodal officers to discuss arrangements for the ongoing Jatara. Ravi Gupta mentioned that the event is the largest tribal festival in Asia and expects over 2 crore devotees to attend. He instructed officials to make sure everything is well-organized for the next four days.

    Ravi Gupta emphasized the importance of traffic management during the festival. He directed officials to have enough personnel on duty and take necessary steps to prevent any inconvenience for devotees. Additionally, he asked them to educate lower-level staff about their roles and responsibilities.
