In Nampally, located in Nalgonda, a serious conflict has erupted in Nerellapalli village over a land dispute. The issue arose from errors in the Dharani land records portal and led to violent clashes between two groups.

Shivarla Narasimh, a local farmer, had been farming on a plot of 33 guntas that was registered in his name before the Dharani system was introduced. However, once Dharani was implemented, the land was recorded under Mukkamala Narasimh’s name, sparking a dispute.

Although the ownership of this land has been contested several times in the past, tensions escalated this farming season. Mukkamala blocked Shivarla from entering the land, claiming it as his own according to Dharani records.

These disputes have typically occurred every farming season, but this time they turned violent. A fight broke out between the groups, and three people suffered head injuries. They were immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
