NagarKurnool: A Heartfelt Contribution to Hometown Schools
District Collector Bhadawath Santosh and Nagar Kurnool MLA Dr. Rajesh Reddy emphasized the importance of remembering one’s roots, noting that the connection to one’s hometown is as significant as the bond with one’s mother. They urged everyone to contribute to their village’s development.
On Saturday, in Ithole village, Tadoor Mandal of Nagar Kurnool district, four new classrooms were opened at the Government High School. These classrooms were funded by Kalki director Nag Ashwin, who donated Rs 66 lakh for the project. The inauguration was attended by District Collector Bhadawath Santosh and MLA Dr. Rajesh Reddy.
During the event, the District Collector stated that people should never forget the village and school where they grew up, regardless of their success. He highlighted the responsibility everyone has to help develop their native village and school.
The Collector praised Nag Ashwin for his generous donation to the school in his hometown, acknowledging his global recognition through the film Kalki. He also encouraged teachers to be dedicated in nurturing the students for future success.
He assured that with the support of donors, essential facilities like toilets would be completed in the school. He motivated teachers to provide quality education to help students achieve great heights.
Nagar Kurnool MLA Dr. Rajesh Reddy expressed pride in Nag Ashwin’s achievements and his commitment to his birthplace. He urged others in prominent positions to follow Nag Ashwin’s example and support government schools and hospitals.
Director Nag Ashwin shared that, inspired by his parents, he decided to address the challenges faced by the village school. He pledged to transform the village’s temple school into a model institution and encouraged students to study hard and aim for high positions, bringing pride to their village.
Nag Ashwin promised that all necessary facilities would be provided to the school by next year. He also urged villagers to enroll their children in the government school, assuring them of a bright future for students there.
The event was attended by Nag Ashwin’s parents Jayanti Reddy and Jayaram Reddy, former Sarpanch Indumathi, family members, District Education Officer Govindarajulu, Mandal Education Officer Bhaskar Reddy, School Principal Bhaskar Reddy, teachers, students, and villagers.
