In Gadwal, special medical camps will be set up at the District Government Hospital throughout June. The District Rural Development Officer, Mr. Narsinga Rao, shared that these camps will help eligible people with disabilities get or renew their disability certificates.
The camps are scheduled for every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday during the month. To attend, individuals must book their slots in advance at MeeSeva centers. They should bring all necessary medical reports, new X-rays, and their UDID (Unique Disability ID). Missing documents will result in disqualification.
Certificates will be given on the spot to those with complete paperwork, according to Mr. Narsinga Rao.
The schedule is as follows:
– Tuesdays (June 3, 10, 17, 24): Individuals with visual impairments
– Wednesdays (June 4, 11, 18, 25): People with physical disabilities
– Thursdays (June 5, 12, 19, 26): Those with both physical and mental disabilities
– Fridays (June 6, 13, 20, 27): Individuals with hearing and speech impairments
This initiative aims to simplify the certification process and provide timely assistance to the differently-abled in the district.
