District Additional Collector, Kumar Deepak, advocates for sweep campaigns to achieve full voter registration.

A meeting was held at the collectorate meeting hall in Nagarkurnool on Monday morning. The district collector chaired the meeting with officials from various departments to discuss the sweep core committee. Additional Collector Kumar Deepak announced that sweep programs will be conducted in four constituencies to encourage youth to register and vote. It was emphasized that every student who is 18 years old should be registered as a voter and participate in the voting process.

The sweep operation in the district will be carried out in a systematic manner. Officials stressed the importance of creating awareness about the right to vote through widespread publicity and awareness programs. Social media can be used to reach more people, along with setting up flexi and hoardings. Documents of intent will also be distributed in high schools and colleges to encourage voter registration.

Teams will be formed for the sweep program in each constituency to increase voter turnout, especially in rural areas where voting percentages are low. Awareness programs will also target urban areas to educate people about their right to vote. It was highlighted that voting is a fundamental right for all citizens, as guaranteed by the constitution. Various officials from different departments, including Sweep Nodal Officer Chinna Obulesh and Zilla Parishad Work Management Officer Deva Sahayam, participated in the meeting.
