District Collector B. M. Santosh Announces Special Committees to Oversee Indiramma Housing Scheme Implementation

Gadwal: Jogulamba Gadwal District Collector B. M. Santosh has instructed the formation of special committees to help implement the Indiramma Housing Scheme. These committees will be set up at the village panchayat and municipal ward levels. The Collector gave these instructions during a meeting on Friday at his camp office, where he reviewed the progress of the housing works.

The Collector emphasized that these committees should include members from Self-Help Groups (SHGs), especially women, and representatives from SC (Scheduled Castes), ST (Scheduled Tribes), and BC (Backward Classes) communities. Their main job will be to spread awareness about the housing scheme and provide support to those building their homes.

Additionally, these committees will help identify and fix any problems that might arise during the construction process. They will ensure the smooth progress of the housing project.

Additional District Collectors Lakshmi Narayana and Narsing Rao also attended the meeting.
