Gadwal: On the last day of the Jogulamba Devi Sharan Navaratri Brahmotsavam, the Goddess took the form of Siddhi Dhatri to bless her devotees. Many people came to the temple to seek her blessings.
Jogulamba Gadwal District Collector, B.M. Santosh, visited the temple with his wife. They offered silk robes to the Goddess as part of the rituals. After the prayers, the couple visited Pushkara Ghat and conducted a test run for the Teppotsavam, a special boat festival. The Teppotsavam will take place on Saturday as part of the Vijayadashami celebrations.
Justice EV Venu Gopal, a judge from the Telangana state High Court, also visited the temple with his wife. They participated in the Navami Pooja and performed special rituals during the festival.
Famous actor Tarzan was another guest who visited the temple during the celebrations.
The District Collector and his team successfully completed the trial run of the boat. This was done to ensure that the Teppotsavam, a highlight of the Vijayadashami celebrations, goes smoothly.
