    District Collector B.M. Santosh has asked officials to create a skill development plan to help young people in Gadwal find jobs.

    On Monday, a meeting of the District Vocational Skill Development Committee took place at the Collectorate. During the meeting, the Collector spoke about the importance of training youth and providing them with job opportunities. He told officials to find out which sectors young people are interested in and take steps to help them develop the necessary skills.

    The Collector directed the District Employment Officer to gather details about the courses offered by skill training institutions in the district and submit a report within a week. He also instructed the District Rural Development Officer (DRDO) to make a list of young people interested in different skills. Based on the district’s job demands, officials were asked to choose relevant courses and find suitable candidates for training programs.

    Emphasizing the importance of skill training, the Collector said that all departments should work together to successfully implement the plan and help youth secure jobs.

    The meeting was attended by Additional Collector Narsinga Rao, Employment Officer Priyanka, GM Industries Ramalingeshwar Goud, LDM Ayyappa Reddy, BC Welfare Officer Ramesh Babu, Deputy Labor Commissioner Mahesh, Agriculture Officer Sakriya Naik, SC Welfare Officer Saroj, ITI Vice Principal Kaleem, MEPMA officials, and representatives from various NGOs.
