Gadwal: District Collector Reviews LRS Applications

On Thursday, District Collector B.M. Santosh, accompanied by Additional Collector Lakshmi Narayana, visited the Erravalli area within the Gadwal Municipal limits. They conducted a detailed inspection of the Layout Regularization Scheme (LRS) applications in the region. The inspection was carried out using a mobile app to keep track of the application process. The Collector highlighted the importance of following government guidelines and carefully reviewing each LRS application before registering them online.

During the field visit, the Collector used the mobile app to check important details of the LRS applications. He reviewed layout plots and the stones placed for plot recognition. The Collector instructed officials to ensure that all necessary information, such as layout names, owner details, plot sizes, and any areas affected by roads, is recorded accurately. He also emphasized the need for caution when uploading documents, ensuring that layout-related documents, plot photos, and their geographical coordinates are properly registered online.

The Collector further directed officials to identify government lands, buffer zones near water bodies such as streams and lakes, and lands involved in court cases. He urged officials to speed up the resolution of LRS applications and maintain clear communication with applicants. He stressed that daily applications should be completed and updated in the mobile app, and any pending applications, especially those related to the Irrigation Department, should be resolved quickly.
