DK Aruna, a prominent leader and BJP National Vice President, has committed to visiting Gadwal every two weeks. Her goal is to personally inspect ongoing projects and reignite development efforts in the area.

At the Guru Vandana event by the Telangana Private Teachers’ Union at Ananta Convention Hall, Aruna voiced her concerns. She lamented how Gadwal, once thriving, now lags due to neglect by previous governments.

Aruna criticized both the Congress and BRS for their roles in Gadwal’s stagnation. She claimed only her past initiatives as an MLA led to any significant development.

She opposed Gadwal’s merger with Nagarkurnool Parliament post-bifurcation, describing it as a political error driven by rivalry. Aruna pledged to work towards reuniting Gadwal with the Mahabubnagar Parliament in future reorganizations.

Aruna highlighted the district’s infrastructure issues, pointing out roads full of potholes and a lack of basic services.
