BJP MP and OBC Morcha national president Dr K Laxman stated that BJP is expected to win a majority of seats in Telangana. He warned that the Congress will face a crisis if it does not implement the Rs 2 lakh farm loan waiver scheme.
Dr Laxman expressed confidence that the pro-incumbency wave of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will help BJP win 370 seats on its own, with the NDA reaching its target of 400 seats. He criticized Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, stating that people do not trust his promises or the negative campaign against BJP.
The BJP leader highlighted that the implementation of the 6 guarantees by the Congress would require Rs 2 lakh crore, leading to increased loans and debt for the government. He also pointed out the state’s financial struggles, claiming that it had to borrow Rs 16,000 crores within 5 months of the Congress government’s formation.
Dr Laxman predicted that BRS would not secure deposits in the Lok Sabha elections and suggested that a merger with the Congress was likely in the future. Despite alleged efforts by Congress and BRS to hinder BJP’s victory, he emphasized that people in Telangana support Prime Minister Modi for his development initiatives.
