In Uppala village, located in Ayija Mandal of the Alampur Assembly Constituency, a significant event took place with the laying of the foundation stone for Indiramma houses. This marks a major step in providing homes to the poor. Dr. S.A. Sampath Kumar, former MLA and AICC Secretary, supported and guided the event.

Jayanna, President of the Ayija Mandal Congress, along with the Indiramma Housing Committee, highlighted the positive impact of the Indiramma Housing Scheme. Initiated by the Telangana State Government, this scheme aims to assist those with limited financial means.

Jayanna emphasized, “The government is committed to uplifting the poor by ensuring they have dignified, permanent homes.” Many significant figures and community members attended the ceremony, showing their support.

Key participants included the Ayija MPDO, the Assistant Engineer, the Panchayat Secretary, village elders, and Bhaskar Goud, the former Sarpanch of Uppala. Senior Congress leaders such as Thimmareddy and Lal Goud were also present, along with beneficiaries of the Indiramma Housing Scheme.
