Hyderabad: Police from the Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force, East Zone, and Chilkalguda Police caught a 21-year-old man involved in interstate drug trafficking. They seized 50 grams of Amphetamine from him, valued at Rs 7.60 lakh.
The man, Rajikul Hoque, originally from Maldah, West Bengal, previously worked in Hyderabad as a mason. After returning home, he faced financial hardship while working as a laborer. He met Mojibur Mistri in Mojampur, Maldah, who is currently missing and known for drug activities. Mojibur persuaded Rajikul that selling drugs could solve his money issues. Hoping to earn quickly, Rajikul bought 50 grams of Amphetamine and traveled back to Hyderabad to sell it.
Police caught Rajikul near Line Bazar Masjid, Chilkalguda, with the drugs in his possession.
