    Hyderabad: The popular food industry event, Food A’Fair, is coming back for its second edition. Organized by Blitz Exhibitions, the event will be held in partnership with the Telangana State Government, HITEX Exhibitions, and the Telangana Food Processing Society (TFPS). The three-day trade fair will take place from June 12th to 14th, 2025, at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad. It aims to bring together food professionals, chefs, and food lovers from all over the world.

    At a press conference held at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, Minister for IT, Industries, and Commerce Duddilla Sridhar Babu officially launched the event’s poster along with Blitz Exhibitions Managing Director Srikanth Punati. The minister praised the event as a valuable platform for showcasing food innovations and connecting people in the industry.

    Food A’Fair 2025 will include a wide range of exhibitors, hands-on workshops, and expert-led panel discussions. Visitors can explore new food trends, taste different cuisines, and learn more about global food cultures. It will be a space for chefs, food producers, and entrepreneurs to share ideas and display their latest products.

    Minister Sridhar Babu shared the government’s support for the food processing sector in Telangana. He emphasized their efforts to help entrepreneurs access the latest technologies, training, and markets. “We want to create an environment where innovation and investment can grow,” he said.

    He also highlighted the importance of events like Food A’Fair in helping local businesses connect with national and global networks. The government is working to make Telangana a leader in food and agriculture processing by encouraging small businesses, women-led enterprises, and sustainable rural jobs.

    The state has seen strong growth in areas like ethanol production, bio-gas, dairy, rice milling, snacks, and cold storage. The government has set up 14 special food processing zones across 7,150 acres, offering ready-to-use infrastructure and financial support to small and medium businesses.

    So far, 6,873 small food processing units have been set up in the state. These businesses receive support including grants of up to ₹10 lakh, help with project planning, loans, and marketing.
