Dy CM Bhatti urged to honor promises on strike period salary

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka has assured the Telangana Samagra Shiksha Employees Union (TSSUS) that the government is committed to addressing their concerns.

On Monday, members of the union met with Bhatti at Praja Bhavan in Hyderabad. They urged him to speed up the implementation of promises made when they ended their strike. The delegation specifically requested that financial issues be discussed in the Cabinet Sub-Committee and that funds be allocated in the upcoming budget for revised pay scales.

Bhatti advised the committee members to also meet with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for further discussions on their demands.

Later, with the help of MLC Prof. Kodandaram, the delegation met Education Principal Secretary Yogita Rana at the Secretariat. They asked for a quick resolution of salary issues from the strike period, along with other financial and non-financial concerns.

Yogita Rana assured them that the file related to strike-period salaries was ready and would be approved without any delays. She also confirmed that all other pending matters had been sent to the Cabinet Sub-Committee for further review.
