Hyderabad: Malkajgiri MP Eatala Rajender has criticized the Telangana government regarding the local body elections. He insists that the elections proceed as scheduled with a 42% reservation for Backward Classes (BCs).

On Tuesday, after a meeting with leaders from the Huzurabad constituency at his Kamalapur home, Rajender spoke to the media. He highlighted issues with the reservation list from the State Election Commission. He pointed out reports from Andhra Jyothi about villages without BC or SC populations being reserved for those groups. Examples include Mangadithanda in Khammam and Ambapuram in Nalgonda.
