Hyderabad: On Tuesday, senior BRS leader V Srinivas Goud claimed that the only solution for increasing reservations for BCs is to include them in the ninth schedule. He accused both the Congress and BJP of plotting to block these reservations.

At a press conference at Telangana Bhavan, Srinivas Goud criticized the Congress government for allegedly spreading false claims. He stated that Congress leaders are falsely advertising in other states that all promises have been fulfilled in Telangana.

He remarked, “You can deceive people sometimes, but not forever. The Congress government continues to mislead about the 42 percent reservation for BCs. They aren’t serious about increasing these reservations. A new government order (GO) was introduced, claiming reservations would rise in six months. Why wasn’t this GO issued earlier?” questioned Srinivas Goud.

He also questioned the effectiveness of the GO, asking why there was a unanimous resolution in the Assembly and why the bill was sent to the Governor and the President of India if the GO was sufficient.
