    Eatala Rajender, a BJP national executive member and candidate from Malkajiri, expressed confidence in the party’s chances of winning the LS seat. In an interview, he mentioned that people he met while campaigning have shown strong support for Prime Minister Modi.

    Rajender explained that different groups of people have various reasons for supporting Modi, such as the provision of individual toilets, free ration, and other social welfare benefits. He highlighted how Modi is perceived as understanding and addressing the issues faced by different demographics.

    The former Health minister emphasized the widespread feeling among people that Modi should serve as Prime Minister for a third term to ensure the country’s safety, security, and development. He also mentioned his track record as an activist in the Telangana movement and former minister garnering support for his campaign in Malkajgiri.

    Rajender dismissed concerns about the strength of opposition parties in Hyderabad, stating that the current political landscape favors the BJP due to strong support for Modi’s leadership. He addressed criticism about defections to the BJP by explaining that leaders from other parties are attracted to the party’s ideology and performance under Modi’s leadership.

    In terms of his specific agenda for Malkajgiri, Rajender mentioned plans to work on implementing central schemes, addressing pollution in lakes and water bodies, resolving traffic issues, and focusing on skill development and industrial growth for youth employment. He believes his experience in the Telangana movement and as a former minister gives him insight into the problems faced by various sections of society.
