The Central Election Commission officials have asked the State Election Commission to hold a by-election for the Khammam-Warangal-Nalgonda graduate MLC seat by June 8. Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, who was the MLC for this seat, recently resigned after winning as MLA from Jangaon assembly seat. To create a new voter list for graduates, it is suggested that those who completed their degree by November 1 and have completed three years should be eligible to vote.

In relation to the by-election, a public notice will be given on Saturday. Further notices will be published in newspapers on January 15 and 25. The deadline for receiving form-18 applications is February 6. A provisional election draft will be prepared on February 21, and objections can be raised from March 24 to April 14. The final election draft, including any amendments, will be published on April 4.
